Cupcakes…the Brits call it fairy cakes and the Aussies call it patty cakes.  It is simply a cake in a cup size, meant for one. Very pretty with colourful frosting, mini marzipans and sugar sprinkles. Lovely to look at but sometimes too pretty to be eaten. : )

Now, you can learn how to personalise your own cupcakes in a simple and fuss free manner. Find out more from leona@aii.sg.  Inspired by “AI”, the chinese word for “LOVE”,  she conducts cupcakes decorating classes for those who want to fill  their cupcakes with their personal touch.

This gathering is for beginners to learn the basics of decorating cupcakes such as some simple piping techniques and using of fondant to decorate the cupcakes.

Healthy Cupcake: (every Thursday) 13Jan, 20Jan, 27Jan, 10Feb

Time: 2.00pm to 5.00pm

Gathering Fee: S$68.00 per student (Demo & Hands-on)

Gathering Size: min 3, max 6

You will learn:

1. A short demonstration on baking cupcakes and buttercream making

2. Fundamentals of handling cupcake decorating equipment.

3. Troubleshooting on problems of buttercream and cupcakes

4. Using Fondant to decorate cupcakes

(Ready-made buttercream will be distributed in class.)

You will be provided with the following items:-

 1 cupcake recipe, 1 buttercream recipe

 A spatula/spreading knife

 18 ready-bake cupcakes

Who says simple cannot be nice? Its how you play with colours and subtle details.  Grape colour contrast with forest green brings out the essence of both colours. Its refreshing and captivating! Bow details is both functional and charming. We must add, this style is extremely flattering as you can bring the pair of twins closer with the bow!

Animale:

We just can’t get enough of the safaris…  Zebras are out in the wild but yet not as fierce as the tigers or leopards. We bring them to the water and even the whales adored them! If you want to make a bolder statement, don our own safari chiffon little skirt or a slip on… “Grrrrr”…
